Pierwsza z nowych Kukartek zostanie otwarta w lutym centrum handlowym w Jankach pod Warszawą. Kolejne sklepy powstaną w Opolu (marzec) i Lubinie (I połowa roku). Passion Card zapowiada, że w 2009 roku otwartych zostanie od 70 do 100 nowych punktów partnerskich. Obecnie firma ma 34 sklepy własne, 5 franczyzowych oraz 29 partnerskich.

Nowy lokal otworzyła także łódzka sieć Presto. Pizzeria powstała w Aleksandrowie Łódzkim i jest siódmym lokalem firmy (obok czterech działających w Łodzi oraz punktów w Bełchatowie i Kaliszu). Już w lutym podwoje otworzy kolejna restauracja serwująca pizzę i inne dania kuchni włoskiej. Tym razem specjałów z Półwyspu Apenińskiego kosztować będą mogli poznaniacy.
